Licensed massage therapist treating an athlete's shoulder at District Flex in San Antonio

Why it works

What you get out of it

  • Licensed therapists, one-on-one every session
  • Sports and therapeutic techniques, not a spa routine
  • Pressure and focus adjusted to you throughout
  • Faster recovery between hard training days
  • Practical aftercare you can actually do
  • 30 to 90 minute options to fit your schedule

Bodywork with a purpose

Your therapist starts by asking what you've been doing and where it's showing up. The session then targets the tissue that's actually limiting you — hips before a squat cycle, posterior chain after a race block, neck and shoulders after a heavy work stretch.

Because trainers and therapists work in the same facility, treatment lines up with your training instead of competing with it.

Recovery as part of the plan

Recovery sessions combine soft tissue work, breathing and guided down-regulation so your body can absorb the work you're putting in. For people training four or more days a week, it's the difference between progress and plateau.

Sessions are bookable on their own — you don't need to be a training client to come in for massage or recovery.

Common questions

How often should I get a massage?
It depends on your training load. Most people training several days a week do well with a session every two to four weeks; during heavy blocks or competition prep, weekly can make sense.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside that window may be charged; the exact policy is shown before you confirm any booking.
